Magento stores when an account was created, not who created it. With several admins, suppliers, or sales users opening accounts for orders, that gap turns into a support argument. Who Created Customer writes the Magento admin username on the account — or Customer if they registered themselves — and shows it on Customers → All Customers and on Customer View.
No Stores → Configuration screen. Install, upgrade, flush. Then Customers → All Customers. Open a record → Customer View → Personal Information → Customer Creator.

What gets stored
Set once. Left alone after that.
Admin Add New CustomerCustomers → Add New Customer → Save. Creator = the logged-in Magento admin username.
Storefront registerThey created the account themselves. Creator is stored as Customer.
Admin Create OrderIf the customer still has no creator and an admin is in session, the username is saved on order submit.
Never overwriteA later edit, login, or order does not replace an existing Customer Creator value.

Five steps. Create one test customer.
1InstallEnable Emmo_WhoCreatedCustomer and run setup:upgrade, then cache:flush.

3GridBack to All Customers. Customer Creator should show that admin username. Filter the column.
4Customer ViewOpen the record. Personal Information includes Customer Creator.
