Native Magento does not put the creating admin on Sales → Orders. With several suppliers, sales users, or sub-accounts placing orders, that gap is a phone call. Who Created Order stamps the Magento admin username and role on the order, or Customer if they checked out on the storefront. Both columns sit on the sales order grid.

Where you look
Sales → Orders. Two extra columns.
No Stores → Configuration screen. Install, upgrade, flush. Enable the columns if they are hidden. Filter Order Creator or Creator Role like any other grid field.
Sales → Orders
Order Creator = shezi (or Customer)
Creator Role = Administrators
Set on checkout_submit_all_after
Saved on the order, copied to the grid
What gets stored
Name and role when Magento saves the order
Admin Create OrderSales → Orders → Create New Order. Creator = logged-in admin username. Role = that user’s Magento role name.
Storefront checkoutThe shopper placed it. Order Creator is Customer. Role stays empty.
Grid filtersFind every order one sales user placed, or every order under one role.
Set onceA later status change does not replace the creator. First save wins.
Use it / leave it
An order audit line — not a warehouse system
Use it when
More than one person places Magento orders
Multiple admins, suppliers, or sub-accounts create orders
A missing or disputed order needs a name, not a guess
You want to count orders per staff user or role
You already use Who Created Customer and need the same idea on sales
Do not expect
It does not stamp the customer account
Who created the customer is a different module
No last-edited-by. Creator is first write only
Orders placed before install stay blank
No OMS, WMS, or address-verification features — grid columns only
